Project-Based Internship

Project-Based Internships emphasize engineering process on a defined project: requirements, architecture, implementation, testing, documentation, and MVP demonstration. They are selective learning experiences—not employment guarantees and not fee-based training.

Vasiva does not charge internship candidates an internship fee. Fee-based education belongs exclusively to the Project-Based Training pathway.

Internship responsibilities, supervision, compensation, selection criteria, and legal terms must be reviewed and approved before any internship is marked as accepting applications. An unpaid structure is never assumed to be legally permissible merely because it is labeled an internship. No internship fee is charged.

Framework

How internship projects are evaluated

Eight stages. One expectation: understand what you build.

  1. Understand

  2. Requirements

  3. Design

  4. Implement

  5. Validate

  6. Document

  7. Demonstrate

  8. Improve

Training programs assess educational progress against a published curriculum. Internships assess project delivery under approved responsibilities and supervision. Not every program covers every technology or production-grade capability unless the curriculum confirms it.

Boundaries

What an internship is — and is not

Selective experience on a defined project. Not fee-based training and not an employment offer.

Not guaranteed

  • Selection after interest registration
  • Employment at Vasiva or elsewhere
  • Certificates by default
  • Commercial client project exposure unless an open opportunity states it
  • Compensation terms before approval and disclosure

Tracks

Duration tracks

Tracks map to AI Engineering, Software Development, and DevOps & Cloud.

One-month introductory

Foundational scope, tighter project boundaries, and introductory depth. Configurable; availability depends on approved openings.

02

Two-month applied

Applied implementation with clearer milestones across implementation, testing, and documentation.

Eligibility

Selection and prerequisites

  • Students, recent graduates, and early-career learners who meet program prerequisites.
  • Selection is competitive — registering interest does not guarantee selection.
  • Prerequisites, responsibilities, and selection criteria are listed on each internship detail page.
  • Expected weekly commitment is published per program when approved.
  • Compensation is never labeled paid or unpaid on open applications until that program’s terms are approved.
